NAATI CEO, Mr Mark Painting, visited BIC on 6 September 2018. This is the head of NAATI’s second visit to BIC; and it has been nearly a year since Mr Painting’s last visit. Dr Megan Beasley, NAATI's State Manager (WA), were also present as BIC’s distinguished guest again.

Our managers presented to the NAATI’s executives BIC’s course delivery (Diploma of Interpreting), student achievement and faculty development. Mr Painting commended BIC on achieving the average pass rate of 95% in the NAATI accreditation test; and expressed delight at BIC’s launching of a new course—Advanced Diploma of Translating. BIC’s trainers also took the opportunity to ask Dr Beasley some very specific questions about the CCL test and the Certification tests. Mr Painting and Dr Beasley both offered valuable advice on course delivery . BIC will continue to provide WA’s candidates for NAATI Certification tests and NAATI CCL test with interpreting and translation courses of high quality and the best team of trainers.
